On a balmy afternoon off the coast of Nova Scotia, the crew of Ocearh tagged one of the biggest white sharks they have ever seen. Nukumi, is 17 feet long and weighed about 3500 pounds. Being up close to such an old and powerful animal is a humbling and surreal experience.

As full time media crew aboard the ship, myself and another colleague conduct interviews, document the process of tagging white sharks, and edit/share promotional material of the expedition in real time.
